There’s always plenty to do in Argyll, such as our many Music Festivals, the annual Half-Marathon and Golf Competitions throughout the year. Carradale itself an extrememly pretty fishing village has a healthy social calendar involving Music, Theatre and Restaurants. Argyll Art Map is worth following in this area with many local artist and a Christine Russell painting is on display in the bunkhouse.
Keep the kids entertained (and wear them out a bit!) with Pony Trekking, tennis , biking fishing, golfing or just let them loose on the beaches and sit back! Nearby Campbeltown has a Cinema ( closed for renovation), but monthly cinema in the Victoria Hall Swimming Pool for rainy days. Surf at Westport beach . Soft Play at Campbeltown Community Centre.

Where to begin! For being so remote Kintyre is jam-packed full of great restaurants serving fresh local food including Old Smokehouse Seafood and nearby Dunvalanree is an an award winning restaurant. Fresh farm produce is available on request at Ifferdale farm too. Campbeltown is hosts one of the most favoured distilleries in Scotland , Springbank
Kintyre is internationally famous for excellent Golf Courses: Machrihanish Golf Course is recognised as one of the most scenic courses in Europe . If this isn’t enough, try Sailing, Fishing or countless Walking and Cycling routes.

Immerse yourself in history at our many Castles and Abbeys or do some easy access island-hopping to Arran, Islay and Gigha. Also includes a list of local crafters, food producers and retailers.
